From my experience at GCC I found it great that the classes are small and you get plenty of one on one time with the tutors, they are all very approachable and extremely helpful when it comes to assignments and projects. GCC is a great place to learn, make friends and prepare for the next step in your life whether it be going onto further education within the college or moving onto University or IT or even to seek employment.
I would completely recommend this course to prospective students if you have the drive behind you this course is perfect for you. I gained great knowledge in my two years at Galway Community College, this knowledge I used to open so many more doors after graduating. I came to GCC with limited knowledge after gaining a low Leaving Certificate result due to other factors in my life which limited my study. Galway Community College gave me a second chance and I took every opportunity given to me to progress after graduating as Business Student of the Year 2012 at GCC. I had a passion for business and GCC and its lecturers Orla Fitzpatrick, James Fitzgerald and Siobhan Hawkins to name a few catered to my needs and made my decision to attend GCC worthwhile.
