This QQI Level 6 Multimedia course is designed to equip the learner with a high level of knowledge, skill and competence within a range of subjects related to the multimedia industry. Course Modules

This programme module aims to facilitate the learner to develop the academic, vocational & personal language, literacy and/or numeracy skills related to Communications. It will assist the learner in understanding the use of modern information and communications technology integrated with the role played by communications and relevant legislation in human interaction.

The module offers broad and comprehensive skills and knowledge in the aesthetics of digital image making through the introduction of design, graphic and compositional precepts.

Using Industry standard software (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Quark Xpress), you will investigate print/web graphics in the digital domain. You will develop practical, critical and academic skills of value in pursuing higher education or seeking employment in any area in which a basic knowledge of digital imaging would be an advantage.

This module will enable the learner to appreciate the role played by information communication technology in e-Business today and to apply the principles and practices of e-Business technologies in a range of contexts.
This module is designed to introduce the learner to the principles of 2D graphics and animation. Using Industry standard software (Adobe Flash), the learner will understand the principles of computer animation, vector graphics, bitmap graphics, navigation theory and interactive website design.
The module is designed to provide the learner with the knowledge and skill set in multime dia project development methods used in the multimedia and digital media field.
The module is designed to provide the learner with the knowledge and skill set in key production methods used in multimedia sound. It is suited to i ndividuals who wish to gain experience of multimedia sound production.
