Business Trip to Butlers
Second year Business Studies students, as part of their Junior Certificate School Programme (JCSP), recently visited Butlers Chocolate Factory in Dublin, gaining valuable insights into how a business starts, evolves, and thrives in a competitive market.
During the visit, students learned how Butlers Chocolate began as a small, family-run business and expanded into a well-known Irish brand through innovation, dedication, and strategic growth. They explored critical elements of business start-up, including the challenges faced in the early stages, and learned about key strategies used to achieve sustainable growth, such as effective marketing, market research, and product development.
The visit provided an immersive learning opportunity, linking classroom concepts to real-world business practices and inspiring students to develop entrepreneurial skills and a deeper understanding of business operations.
