GCC Girls Soccer Blitz with GRETB schools
Our junior girls had a great time today!! They took part in an indoor soccer blitz with Coláiste an Eachreidh, Athenry and Archbishop McHale College, Tuam. Also, two members of the Galway United Women's team called in with the National silverware they won last season. Thanks to all the students and teachers involved with all the schools for making it a super event! GCC were delighted to have the facilities to host this event, we look forward to more collaborations with GRETB schools in the future. Well done to Ms. Quinn and Ms. Cunningham, GCC PE teachers for organising the event and to Mr. Tommy Peoples, Galway Sports Partnership officer and Galway United Players for taking time out to chat with the students and show their silverware from recent achievements.
