The Student Council 2019/2020
The Student Council members are democratically elected to represent the voice and concerns raised by the students of Galway Community College. They work in partnership with school management, staff, parents and the board of management, for the benefit of the school. Each year they focus attention on helping out the school management when needed at P/T meetings and open day, organising events to raise money for worthy charities, as well as on events in ‘Healthy Eating Week’.
Members of the Student Council endeavour to improve where possible the school and daily lives of the students in a spirit of co-operative partnership.
